REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery year\, Lighthouse Cove hosts a professional conference for DSPs and Frontline Supervisors – our annual Summit – and this year marks the 9th such event. Plenary and breakout sessions\, lunch\, networking\, activities\, games\, and fun are typical parts of the low-cost event\, at which hundreds of professionals gather to be educated\, elevated\, and empowered. \n\n\n\nFor the 2023 Summit\, in addition to our keynote plenary session\, Lighthouse Cove and the DSP and Frontline Supervisor Councils are presenting breakout sessions that address UIs and MUIs; Supporting Community Belonging; Parent/Guardian Relationships with DSPs; and Mental Health First Aid®. Each of these sessions is offered twice – at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. – and all 5 presentations are approved for CPDUs from Ohio DODD. The group plans and presents the bi-annual ADVANCE Partnership Summit (APS). \n\n\n\nThe Think Tank Expansion Groups expand on the ideas\, comments\, and concepts generated at the 2022 APS through the Red-Yellow-Green Card Activity\, which addressed 4 key areas – Regulatory\, Technology & Equipment\, Workforce\, and Finance. Each of these 4 is the guiding theme of one Group\, and the work done on these key areas during the Summit is each Group’s starting point. \n\n\n\nIf you attended the Summit and have not received information about the Expansion Groups\, contact us so we can share registration information.

SUMMARY:Ambassador Orientation/Training
DESCRIPTION:Lighthouse Cove’s Ambassador program is a new way for DSPs to increase their outreach\, opportunities\, and impact. Each Ambassador serves a term of two (2) years. Ambassadors must be agency employees and provide direct support to individuals with I/DD. They are selected by their employers’ Executive Directors. \n\n\n\nThis required initial orientation and training is online; the link is sent directly to Ambassadors.
